A win is a win is a win

There's hardly ever a chance to get excited about a measly win over UNLV, but that was exactly the case Saturday when CSU ended its 13-game losing streak with a win over the Rebels in Vegas.

Leave it to the Rams to have their first win in more than a year be the one game fans couldn't attend or even watch, as the game was the only away game not televised.

Perhaps the oddest thing about Saturday's win was Gartrell Johnson's performance. For the second straight week, "The Predator" set a career high for rushing yards, this time for 162.

This season was supposed to be saved because Johnson wasn't the Rams' running back.

Instead, he, along with wide receiver Damon Morton, is the brightest spot for a CSU team that is far from just one win from saving itself from the disappointment that has already occurred.

At this point I thought it might be cool to go all season without a win. Wouldn't that break some sort of record?
P.S. I will take you and the whole football team down in an ice cream eating contest.
